Welcome B Vivit!
Firsthand's new Community Coordinator.
Guess who is fully on board at Firsthand? Yep, that's right... my good friend, B. B joined the team a couple of weeks ago as our new Community Coordinator. She'll be taking the lead on our marketing, scholarship, outreach, and community-building efforts here in the shop. And yep, she'll also be one of the in-house instructors at our new school, lending her unique energy and perspective to our classes once we open our doors.
B has over a decade of welding and fabrication experience, and previously taught framebuilding courses at the United Bicycle Institute down in Ashland. (Fun fact: B was one of my instructors when I took UBI's frame class way-back-when!) I couldn't be more pumped to have B in the shop. You'll be hearing and seeing a lot more from her as we go along.
