Note: Steel 68/73mm BSA BB shells are due in stock in August. For now, we have 68's in Paragon's pre-drilled version. These have 1/2" vent holes for ST/DT, plus an M5 tapped hole (for cable guide or mere drainage) on the opposing side. No chainstay vent holes.

Material: 1-1/2" x .083" wall 4130 steel tubing

OD: 1.500"

Width: 0.5 mm oversize to allow for clean up after welding

Relief: On the inside diameter to 1.385"/1.395"

Threads:

  • 1.370"-24, right and left hand; compatible with all modern threaded bottom brackets
  • Thread length = 0.50"
  • Left hand thread is identified by a radial groove on the face of the shell
  • Minor diameter = 1.330"/1.340"
