Gasflux C-04™ Nickel Bronze is a specially formulated low fuming copper/zinc alloy, ideal for all bronze brazing on steel bicycles. From fillets to tab-style dropouts, braze-ons, bridges, and even bronze-brazed lugs and crowns. This is the only stuff worth using.

We also carry C-04 in 3/32" diameter. Some builders prefer 3/32" for fillet brazing, and 1/16" for everything else. If you're doing your best Tom Ritchey impression, even larger diameters (up to 1/4"!) are available direct from Gasflux.

Technically, C-04 can be used on stainless steels under the right conditions. You may see this mentioned elsewhere. In our experience, however, it is not practical to use when building in stainless.
