High-quality tungsten carbide burs from Pferd. Carbide burs are excellent at removing material and leaving a smooth finish. While they can be a little intimidating, they will cut your filing and sanding time in half. And if you are thinking about adding harder metals (stainless, titanium, etc) to your framebuilding repertoire, burs are a must. 

This starter set includes 3 burs:

  • 1 Diamond cut, Cylindrical bur in medium (3/8 x 3/4"; 1/4" shank)
  • 1 Diamond cut, Tree(cone) bur in medium (3/8 x 3/4"; 1/4" shank)
  • 1 Micro-cut, ball bur in small (1/4" x 3/16"; 1/4" shank)

Use diamond-cut carbide burs for deburring titanium, cutting internal routing ports, shaping dropouts and lugs, or even finishing fillets.

These burs are super accurate, durable, and chatter-free, removing stock easily and leaving a very nice surface finish.
