Snap Ring/BoBI Insert, 12mm Thru, Hanger for SRAM Eagle, Black

Material: Black anodized 6061 aluminum

Application:

• PMW flat mount dropouts with a bolt-on brake insert (BoBI)
  • Supplied with a shaped adhesive piece and a M2 x 8 FHCS, MUST use both for secure mounting
• PMW Snap Ring dropouts
  • Supplied with a 20mm internal retaining ring
• 12mm hub, threaded M12 x 1.5
• SRAM Eagle derailleur (will work with other large capacity derailleurs)

Length: Center of the axle to the center of the derailleur hanger = 1.320"

Installation with Adhesive

1. Clean the dropout and hanger with a solvent that leaves no residue, such as alcohol, lacquer thinner, acetone or fingernail polish remover.  NOTE:  HANGER POCKET MUST BE FREE FROM PAINT AND COATINGS.
2. Peel the white protective layer, and apply to the dropout. Press firmly.
3. Peel the red protective layer, using a knife point or similar tool to carefully separate from the adhesive. The adhesive is clear and not easy to see; this may take a few tries.
4. Install the hanger.
5. Install 2 mm screw.
6. Tighten the skewer to clamp the hanger, adhesive and dropout together. For best results, do this at a temperature of at least 70 degrees and leave the skewer clamped for a few hours.

Removal of Hanger with Adhesive

In most cases, grabbing the hanger and pulling firmly will break the adhesive bond. If this doesn't work, install the skewer almost all the way and rap the end of the skewer with a block of wood or soft hammer.
