Gasflux Type G is a creamy, finely-ground paste flux for brazing steel and stainless steel with silver alloys. This green-tinted flux is tailormade for brazing with higher-temp, lower percentage silver alloys, such as our 38% silver. Use this flux alongside our 38% coils and rods (!) on silver fillets, dropouts, bridges, and tricky braze-ons where you need to build a fillet.

If you've ever used CycleDesign's (now defunct) FilletPro Stainless Light flux, this is very similar. Ideal for silver fillet brazing. You can also use green flux for brazing with 56% silver, when you want a little more temp + time forgiveness.

Hey, some retailers sell flux in 1/2 lb. jars, but charge as much as 1 lb. jars. Pretty silly. Check the jar size—don't be deceived.
