Application:

• Allows frames to be broken down into two pieces for compact transport in an airline-checkable case
  • Typical standard airline maximum size limit is 62" combined (length + width + thickness); standards may vary between airlines and should be verified prior to frame construction
  • Readily available cases measure 8.5" x 26.5" x 31" and 10" x 26" x 26".
• Fits into 1-5/8" titanium tubing
• The coupler is meant to be welded within the top or down tube. One end of the coupler must be machined by the builder to match the inside diameter of the tubing used; a .001" to .002" press fit is ideal. The other end is longer and has a .050" wall intended to be mitered and welded directly to the seat tube or BB shell.
